Shipping Policy

Overview

We strive to deliver your A Touch of Dan products quickly and safely. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Shipping times and costs vary based on your location, order size, and product type.

Shipping Methods and Rates

Standard Shipping: Available for most orders via UPS or DHL and others. Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days within Canada; 7-14 business days internationally. Rates start at $10 CAD for orders under $50 CAD, with free shipping on orders over $200 CAD (Canada only).

Tracking and Delivery

Once shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information through Shopify ShopPay. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, holidays, or carrier delays. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once handed to the carrier.

International Shipping

Available to select countries with duties and taxes calculated at checkout (customer responsibility). Estimated delivery: 10-21 business days. Hazardous items are excluded.

Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return period for most products, starting from the delivery date. Returns must be in original, unopened packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any shipping fees.

Exceptions for Hazardous Materials

Due to Transport Canada regulations on dangerous goods, hazardous products such as A Touch of Dan Stain Stripper are non-returnable and sold as final sale. We cannot accept returns of these items via shipping without special packing procedures, as it violates safety and environmental guidelines. For customers far from our location, we recommend the following alternatives:

Store Credit: We can issue store credit (our online store) for the full purchase amount, valid for 12 months, upon confirmation of product receipt (e.g., via photo proof of disposal).

Product Exchange: If the item is defective or incorrect, we can arrange an exchange for the same product at a Toronto store location, with you covering disposal of the original.

Local Disposal Assistance: Dispose of the product safely at a local hazardous waste facility (we can provide guidance based on your location), and contact us for a case-by-case resolution, such as partial refund minus disposal costs.

All requests must be submitted within 30 days via our contact form. We reserve the right to deny returns that do not comply with these terms and applicable product warranties.
